Courtney Shanade Salter, aka Ari Lennox, was born in Washington, D.C. on the 26th of March on the 26th of March, 1991. Ari Lennox debuted her first single, Shea Butter Baby, Whipped Cream on the 16th of July in 2018, which was released on July 16th, 2018. A music video was later released in September. Then, in November, she released her singles forty Shades of Choke & Grampa. In November 2013 she released No One and Pedigree. Shea Butter Baby was released on her debut single, February 26, 2019 for the album Creed II. Shea Butter Baby was featured with Cole on the Creed II sound track on the 16th of November. In February 2019 the video music for the song was released. The track has garnered over 3 million YouTube views in just a single week. In December 2018, she was part of the From East Atlanta With Love Tour that featured 6LACK.
